Fix Your Plane

Cleveland Golf LogoIf you are having trouble swinging the club on the correct path try this at-home remedy.

First you will need:

  • Two mag lite flashlites
  • 24 inch piece of PVC pipe
  • Bungee cord

Tony RuggieroPut one maglite in each end of the PVC pipe connected with the bungeee cord.  Now you are ready to fix your path!

Find yourself a seam in your driveway or garage or you can use the seam where your carpet meets your baseboard inside.

Turn on both maglites.

Make rehearsal backswings very slow, tracing the line with the bottom maglite.  When the club gets to waist high and hinges you should have the butt end of the flashlite now pointing at the line you were tracing.

Repeat this over and over and no matter what path flaw you have, you will be on the way to a better swing plane!

Follow these steps to get your Free Swing Analysis

  • Download and register your free V1 Home software
  • Log into the V1 Golf Academy.
  • Click on Faculty at the top of the page and Find "DewSweepers" on the faculty list.
  • After selecting DewSweepers, hit Click to view and then click Select this Professional.
  • Next, click on Profile Overview and confirm that your Selected Pro is DewSweepers.
  • On the left side, type in the number 4561 under ProCode Update and click Send
  • Capture your swing on video (make sure your shutter speed setting is in Sports mode)
  • Open V1 Home and load into the software

Your V1 Home software is now ready to send your swing video to Dewsweepers for a free analysis!
