Know Where The Strokes Are!!!

Cleveland Golf LogoThis weeks tip is an effort to help all of you out there learn what you really need to work on. So many times a student has told me either "if I could only drive it better I could shoot in the 70's" or "if I hit my irons more solid I would break 90."

Tony RuggieroOften times we find that the player's perception of what is costing them strokes is often skewed or misguided. I want to encourage all golfers out there to keep track of your rounds and playing statistics. It will help you formulate a plan of attack for you and your teacher, as well as devise an appropriate way to structure your practice schedule. You may find that what you think is costing you strokes is not really costing you strokes.

I have found one great system out there for doing this and I use it with all my students. There are many programs out there, so remember: the important thing is that you use one of them.

Analyze Your Swing Like The Pros!

Visit the V1 Golf Academy to download a free version of V1 Home. Take a video of your swing and analyze it on your computer or send it to Tony for one free professional swing analysis, courtesy of The Dewsweepers Golf Show! E-mail Dewsweepers at myswing @dewsweepersgolfshow.com.

 
 

Follow these steps to get your Free Swing Analysis

  • Download and register your free V1 Home software
  • Log into the V1 Golf Academy.
  • Click on Faculty at the top of the page and Find "DewSweepers" on the faculty list.
  • After selecting DewSweepers, hit Click to view and then click Select this Professional.
  • Next, click on Profile Overview and confirm that your Selected Pro is DewSweepers.
  • On the left side, type in the number 4561 under ProCode Update and click Send
  • Capture your swing on video (make sure your shutter speed setting is in Sports mode)
  • Open V1 Home and load into the software

Your V1 Home software is now ready to send your swing video to Dewsweepers for a free analysis!
