Trouble drop kicking your driver and hitting behind the ball???

Try this little drill while you are at the course next time.

Normally when you dropkick your driver your trunk has gotten to tilted away from the target because your are trying to lift the ball or help it into the air.

Tony RuggieroNext time you play wear a striped shirt and practice making swings and keeping your stripes as level as you can during your forward swing. Keeping your stripes level will help keep you from drop kicking your driver and help you make more solid contact.

Another drill to revisit that we have done before on the dewsweepers is practice swinging down the hill. Any tilt in your trunk will result in you hitting the ground way to early. If you and learn to not hit the hill early you are already swinging better.

Follow these steps to get your Free Swing Analysis

  • Download and register your free V1 Home software
  • Log into the V1 Golf Academy.
  • Click on Faculty at the top of the page and Find "DewSweepers" on the faculty list.
  • After selecting DewSweepers, hit Click to view and then click Select this Professional.
  • Next, click on Profile Overview and confirm that your Selected Pro is DewSweepers.
  • On the left side, type in the number 4561 under ProCode Update and click Send
  • Capture your swing on video (make sure your shutter speed setting is in Sports mode)
  • Open V1 Home and load into the software

Your V1 Home software is now ready to send your swing video to Dewsweepers for a free analysis!
