Hank Johnson is widely recognized as one of the premier golf teachers in the world. For several years, he has been included in Golf Magazine's listing of Americas Top 100 Teachers and Golf Digest magazine's Top 50 Teachers in America. In 2004, he was named PGA Teacher of the Year. Hank Johnson has been a member of the PGA of America since 1973 and was recently inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. A featured presenter at the 2002 PGA Teaching and Coaching Summit, Hank Johnson has in depth knowledge of all areas of golf improvement. In addition to golf stroke procedures, his expertise and experience include equipment design and fitting, physical training and conditioning for golf and strategy development for optimum scoring. His students include players from the PGA and LPGA Tours, outstanding amateurs and collegiate players and promising junior golfers. As founder and Master Instructor for the Hank Johnson School of Golf, Hank Johnson personally develops the academy programs and staff.
